Shmuel Schnitzer, President of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) and Marcel Pruwer, President of the Antwerp Diamond Bourse, have issued a joint statement expressing support for the marketing efforts the two bourses are developing.
Over the past twelve months, Antwerp clearly confirmed its leadership role in the global diamond trade and remains the preferred partner for diamond trade worldwide, the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) said.

The Antwerp World Diamond Centre set up a dedicated diamond-financing seminar the World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday which was introduced by Flemish Minister President Geert Bourgeois and attended by representatives of international financial institutions.
The Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) has announced that the two-day Dubai Diamond Conference 2015 will be officially opened by Former EU President Herman Van Rompuy.
The conference will take place from 21 to 22 April at the iconic Almas Tower home to the DDE and one of the world’s leading marketplaces for diamonds.
The Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) will hold the second Dubai Diamond Conference from April 21 to April 22, 2015. The conference will be held at Almas Tower, the Middle East’s tallest commercial tower that is home to over 1,000 diamond, precious metals, precious stones and jewelry companies.
Members of three of the world's leading diamond bourses will find themselves together on the trading floor of the Israel Diamond Exchange at the upcoming International Diamond Week (IDW) in Israel in February.
De Beers today announced the 2015 Forward Contract Sales (FCS) program for its Auction Sales business. As a result of customer feedback, the new program includes a number of changes from the program first launched in 2014.
The award of certificates to members of the first polishing course took place on Tuesday at the IDE's Modern Manufacturing Center.

Around 300 members of the Israel Diamond Exchange will be exhibiting their diamond stocks on the trading floor of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) at the International Diamond Week (IDW) in February.
They will be joined on the IDE trading by members of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York, the Antwerp Diamond Bourse (Beurs voor Diamanthandel).
