Three top diamond industry leaders will give lectures at the inaugural US-International Diamond Week at the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) in March.
They include Tom Moses, senior vice president of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Chaim Even Zohar, CEO of Tacy Consulting, and Martin Rapaport, of Rapaport Co.
They will present their take on the current state of the global diamond industry, to visitors and IDE members taking part in the March 17-20 event.
Even Zohar, author of From Mine to Mistress, and publisher of the weekly Diamond Intelligence Briefs, will speak on March 20 on the diamond supply pipeline.
Moses will speak on March 19 on issues of interest to the GIA, including treatments, synthetic diamonds and recent research.
Meanwhile, Rapaport is due to speak on March 18 on the state of the diamond industry.
"We're very pleased to have these three eminent speakers on our lecture roster," says IDE President Yair Sahar. "In today's diamond market, change is the only constant we have, and members of our trade need to keep themselves appraised of recent developments. I am sure that each speaker will deliver the goods."
